Our Story
About Kitchen Advanced Youth Initiative (KAYI)
The Kitchen Indoor Pickleball Courts have always been a big supporter of youth pickleball. Ever since we opened our doors, we started a Jr Academy program which grew exponentially and was designed to help youth of all skill levels improve their pickleball game while interacting with their peers and having a good time. Jr Academy is a great place for competitive pickleball, making lifelong friendships, and learning great sportsmanship.
Now, the Kitchen is proud to announce our brand new non-profit organization, KAYI (Kitchen Advanced Youth Initiative). This non profit is designed to benefit our youth in two special ways. First, it will continue to promote the growth of our advancing youth players who have a desire to progress and compete at a high level. We will offer clinics and training sessions designed to help these youth hone in the necessary skills to take their game to the next level, be tournament ready, and be mentally and physically prepared for the highest levels of competition.
Second, KAYI will offer financial help to those youth ready to compete at Pro level, whether that be PPA, APP or Next Gen events. The Kitchen believes in supporting all youth and embraces the philosophy of when you’re here, you’re family. The kids who play here become like family, and we want to help our kids and our family achieve their pickleball hopes and dreams.
